StormcrestSpecialist IT & Cyber Recruitment

Technical trades & drivers, the same straight dealing.

The cabling, power, cooling and security behind technology have to be installed and maintained by licensed tradespeople. Alongside our IT work, we recruit for that work, and for the heavy vehicle drivers who keep projects and freight moving, and the instructors who train them.

01 · Roles

Six areas, close to the work we know.

We focus on trades that sit next to IT and critical infrastructure, plus heavy vehicle drivers and the instructors who train them. We don't recruit for general construction trades.

02 · Licences and checks

Current licences, confirmed before placement.

Every candidate we put forward must hold the current licences, registrations and tickets the work requires. Before any placement we take reasonable steps to confirm them, using the issuing body's public register where there is one, and we ask the candidate for evidence where there isn't.

Licences are issued by bodies such as Consumer and Business Services (CBS) in South Australia, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) through its accredited registrars, the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC), SafeWork SA and state road agencies. Those bodies license the individual. They don't license or accredit us.

You don't need to send copies of your licences when you register. We'll ask for what we need, and check it, before any placement.

03 · How we work

Permanent roles, handled properly.

Permanent

Permanent hires

Every role we fill is a permanent role with the hiring employer. The same process as our IT work: a proper brief, honest advice and consent before every submission. Our published fees apply, as for our IT roles, including the $12,000 minimum fee, and the $5,000 minimum if you employ a candidate we introduced on a fixed-term contract of under 6 months.

Site requirements

Clear up front

We'll ask about inductions, supervision and site safety requirements for the role, so candidates know what to expect before they apply.

For employers
